Ingredients:
Vine Leaves, tomatoes, sweet spices, olive oil, pomegranate molasses, vegetable stock, lemon, parsley, rice, minced meat, salt, pepper, garlic, tomato paste.
Preparation:
1) Prepare the base layer:
• In a medium sized pot, arrange a layer of sliced onions. Add a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes on top of the onions.
2) Add the Vine Leaves:
• Neatly arrange the vine leaves over the onion and tomato layers
3) Make the cooking liquid:
• In a jar of warm water, mix:
1 spoon of tomato paste
1 cube of vegetable stock
1 spoon of pomegranate molasses a dash of olive oil
• Stir well until the ingredients are fully dissolved
• Pour the prepared mixture over the vine leaves
4) Cover and Cook
• Place a plate on top of the vine leaves to hold them down
• Cover the pot with a lid
• Turn the heat to high until the mixture begins to boil
• Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 30 minutes
• Pour in 1/2 cup of lemon juice and continue to simmer for another 30
